Katherine Heigl and her animal welfare organization the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation are raising awareness of LA Animal Services “Free The Shelters” event, a no-fee adoption campaign that will run from Friday August 4th through Sunday August 6th, and will feature over 1000 homeless animals from four city shelters.
