Lights, Camera, Romance!
Just in time for Valentine's Day, "Lights, Camera, Romance", hosted by Katherine Heigl, will air on a special edition of ABC's "20/20" on Tuesday, February 13 (10:00 – 11:00 p.m. ET). The show will feature the stars of the most influential romantic movies, take viewers behind-the-scenes and dissect the most memorable moments from these classic films.
The special will also air interviews with Katherine, Nia Vardalos and Andrea Martin from My Big Fat Greek Wedding; and Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan from the Fifty Shades films. It will also include insider details on romantic comedy casting decisions; the making of the most famous romantic movie scenes including The Notebook producer Mark Johnson on the iconic kissing scene; and an interview with An Officer and a Gentleman director Taylor Hackford who worked with Richard Gere and Debra Winger, a famous film couple whose chemistry on-screen was matched only by their tension on set.
The special will also feature Elton John, David Foster, Giorgio Moroder, Diane Warren and Bill Medley, the musical masterminds involved with some of the most popular love songs from movies including "I Will Always Love You" and "I've Had the Time of My Life." Additional interviews include E.L. James, author of the Fifty Shades books; Peter Billingsley, director of Couples Retreat and producer of The Break-Up; Anne Fletcher, director of 27 Dresses and The Proposal; Ione Skye from Say Anything; Nelson Coates, set designer from Fifty Shades Freed; Erin Carlson, author of I'll Have What She's Having; Grae Drake, movie critic from Rotten Tomatoes; and ABC’s Chris Connelly.
