Trending At The CW
Abishag, the production company founded in 2007 by Katherine and Nancy Heigl and involved in such hit films as 27 Dresses, The Ugly Truth and Life As We Know It, is ramping up its television projects and has partnered with Daniel Rosenberg, Lakeshore Entertainment and CBS TV Studios on a series for The CW Network, titled "Trending". Gren Wells has been set to write the pilot.

"Trending", inspired by the novel Bi-Coastal Babe, is about 26 year old Lissa Bennett, whose job is to search for the newest and hottest emerging trends in order to keep her corporate clients ahead of the curve… if only she could predict the trends in her love life as well. Katherine and Nancy Heigl, on behalf of Abishag, will executive produce along with Gren Wells, Daniel Rosenberg and Lakeshore’s Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi.
Katherine read and fell in love with Cynthia Langston’s novel and – being a fan of Gren Wells’ work as well – the pairing seemed a natural fit. Heigl will not star in the production.
Gren Wells most recently wrote the romantic comedy A Little Bit of Heaven, starring Kate Hudson and Gael Garcia Bernal, for The Film Department.
In April of this year, HBO Films announced that it had optioned the rights to Ann Hood’s best-selling novel, "The Knitting Circle", as a starring vehicle for Katherine Heigl, with Katherine and Nancy Heigl producing for their Abishag banner along with Pinestreet Pictures and Craig Wright penning the screenplay adaptation.
This is so great. You deserve everything great in the world. May you live forever <3<3<3

I already said it through facebook, but here I am so that you can actually read it. Congrats, Katie! I’m sure it’s going to be great, and I’m really proud that Abishag is getting more space =]
I was just reading the Provide, Provide poem and that’s just so perfect. “Too many fall from great and good; For you to doubt the likelihood.”
That’s it Katie, doubt the likelihood, you are where you are now because you are GREAT in what you do!
Your fans are loyal, just count on us, okay? We’ll do anything to support you =]
