Jeff: For good, not evil! (Katherine laughs) But it's kind of like X-Files, in a way, I guess. Because one of the guys who helps out with the show helped out with X-Files.

Katherine: Right, David Nutter, who was an executive producer and initially directed the first pilot -- the first show. Um...and was an X-Files director. And we even have John Bartley, who's our lighting guy, and he was on X-Files. So it's got that whole edge to it.

Jeff: You know, as I look at your career...well now, you're in your early 20's?

Katherine: 21.

Jeff: And it's like you're a veteran when it comes to entertainment.

Katherine: That's what I keep telling my co-stars! You know, I'm like, "You guys should listen to me, because I know what I'm doing." No,...

Jeff: Nine years old as a model, and then you had your first feature film at twelve, and it just keeps going and going from there. And also, you're in a movie called Under Siege with Steven Segal, which I recognized you from. See, I'd never seen the show, but when I saw you, I said, "Wait a minute, she was in Under Siege!"

Katherine: Yeah, Under Siege 2. I wasn't the girl who popped out of the cake in the first one. My father's, like, "No!" (both of them laugh). But yeah, I've had a really good time. I've been really fortunate.

Jeff: And you've starred with some big-time actors. It's funny, I got to interview John Travolta...

Katherine: Oh, really? (smiles)

Jeff: And I thought that was really cool! And I'm sure, still at a young age -- 21 -- you're sitting there going, "Steven Segal, Peter Fonda." The guys you get to hang out with is kind of neat.

Katherine: It's really neat. It's hard to understand I think. I don't have a full grasp of it. Earlier this year, we were on the cover of LIFE -- Jason, Brendan, and I, because they were doing an article on Roswell. And it was this huge thing, to be on the cover of LIFE magazine. But you don't...I can't grasp it. I can't grasp the significance. And I sort of treat it like everything else. And I guess that's how I treat Steven and Peter.

Jeff: One of your co-stars made it on Teen magazine (puts up the Teen magazine with Shiri Appleby on it). What's the deal with that? How come you're not on Teen?

Katherine: I don't know, I keep asking The WB why I'm not on Teen! But...(looks at the camera, sighs, and laughs.)

Jeff: I'm telling you right now. After you're here on WB2Day, we'll work out a way.

Katherine: Okay, good.

Jeff: Thank you very much for coming by! (shakes her hand)

Katherine: Thank you.

Jeff: You're going to stick around for the rest of the show, because I heard you have a challenge from Amy Freeze to do the weather.

Katherine: Oh, I want to do the weather.
