| The first time I photographed Katie Heigl was
for Venice magazine. She had come with her mother to the
studio and we had done some good work together. She and her
mother had liked the pictures enough to ask for me several years
later when FHM wanted to do some rather sexy pictures of
her. My editor had flown over from England for the job and was
chagrined to find that Katie’s mother had every intention of
staying around that day. Katie and her mom and I had discussed
the work together beforehand and I didn’t have the impression
that there would be any problem, despite the fact that my
stylist had brought along a great deal of nearly transparent
clothing. In fact, her mother approved all my Polaroid's and
thought Katie looked splendid in our work that day, much to the
surprise and disbelief of my editor! |
