| The stunning
alien from Roswell hasn't been waiting around the
mothership for another space adventure since the series ended.
She's been too busy, especially this time of the year. Heigl,
Patrick Dempsey, Ellen Pompeo and Sandra Oh are just a few of
the actors who went to work this month on the new ABC medical
drama series Grey's Anatomy. Set to debut in January, the
show centers around the lives of a group of surgical interns at
a Seattle hospital.
Heigl also stars in Hallmark Channel's Love's Enduring
Promise, which will debut on the cable network November 20.
She plays a pioneer widow who teams up with a widower (Dale
Midkiff) and his daughter (January Jones) in order to survive.
When an accident leaves her new partner incapacitated, she has
to find a way to harvest their crops or lose them. Love's
Enduring Promise was directed by Michael Landon, Jr. from a
script based on Janette Oke’s beloved series of bestselling
books. |
