Heigl as Isabel Evans on Roswell
Her intense gaze and otherworldly pout have left fans clamoring for more close
encounters of the Katherine Heigl kind. But the 21-year-old actress, aka Roswell’s
alienated teen dream Isabel, swears her own sex appeal escapes her. "I don’t
walk around in halter tops and miniskirts," the recent Maxim cover girl says.

| Initially reluctant to do
a TV series, the eight-year film vet (Under Siege 2) can’t wait for the WB
drama’s second season to unfold. "There are bad guys to battle, a home planet to
visit and lots of kissing to engage in." Off-screen, Heigl — who had a teen
fling with Blossom’s Joey Lawrence — is still waiting to make a love connection.
"Right now I’m concentrating on my career," says the busy actress, who will
soon be seen in the indie flick 100 Girls. "You’d be surprised at how little
