Chucky's back & this time he's married.....
NOTORIOUS SERIAL KILLER DOLL CHUCKY RETURNS, WITH A PARTNER IN
CRIME, IN THE NEW MOVIE BRIDE OF CHUCKY
Ten years ago, after a heated pursuit, psycho killer Charles
“Chucky” Lee Ray was cornered in a toy store and gunned down by
the law. With his dying breath, he muttered an ancient voodoo
incantation to transfer his soul into the nearest available body
and defy death forever. However, fate (or the screenwriter) had
other plans. There being no people in the immediate vicinity,
Chucky was reborn again inside the hottest-selling toy of the
year – a “Good Guy” doll. His only hope of escape? Finding a
living human body to exchange souls with…
RESURRECTION
In Bride of Chucky, the world’s most notorious doll meets his
match…in more ways than one. His ex-girlfriend Tiffany (Jennifer
Tilly) who has been carrying a torch for him ever since his soul
was transferred into the Good Guy doll contrives to rescue his
bagged remains from a police evidence lock-up where they have
rested since the last movie. With heavy-duty thread and a box
full of doll parts, she manages to patch together the love of
her life. On a dark and stormy night, with marriage on her mind,
she intones the incantation and breathes life back into the
little fella. But her beloved Chucky is not as grateful as she
might like. He would rather be single. Enraged, Tiffany
imprisons Chucky and presents him with a “girlfriend” his won
size – a doll decked out in a wedding dress. Chucky has other
plans; he would like his women to have a little more soul.
Faster than she can say “I do”, Tiffany gets the white gown
she’s always dreamed of, it’s just a whole lot smaller than she
ever expected. But then, so is she…
AMULET
For better or for worse, Chucky and Tiffany will be a matched
set if they ever get back into human bodies. To do this, they
must get to Hackensack, New Jersey, exhume Chucky’s human body,
recover the soul transferring-amulet that was buried along with
it, and find a couple of compatible “body” donors. Enter teenage
newlyweds Jesse (Nick Stabile) and Jade (Katherine Heigl), two
young lovers-on-the-run who become the evil duo’s unwitting
accomplices. The wedding party hits the highway and what ensues
is a road trip filled with murder, music, mayhem, love and
betrayal. Jennifer Tilly stars opposite Chucky, along with
co-stars Katherine Heigl, Nick Stabile, John Ritter, Alexis
Arquette, and Gordon Michael Woolvett. Reprising his role as the
voice of Chucky is genre star Brad Dourif. Produced by David
Kirschner and Grace Gilroy, and written by Chucky creator Don
Mancini. Bride of Chucky is directed by acclaimed Hong Kong
director Ronny Yu. Don Mancini and Corey Sienega serve as
executive producers.
