Alien Spotted In
Library
Katherine Heigl, who plays alien Isabel Evans in the WB TV show Roswell,
landed in the Denver Public Library Wednesday to shoot a public service announcement for
the library's "Teen Summer of Reading" program, which will air in June.
"A woman who plays an alien seems like a perfect match for people who sometimes
feel like aliens," said library spokeswoman Anya Breitenbach.

During her visit to Denver to film a public service announcement for the city
library, (see above) Katherine also visited Channel 2 studios (Denver's WB2 outlet) and
gave a brief interview. She also made her debut as a weather person, describing the five
day forecast for the city during a live broadcast. Appearing to be very excited about her
new role, she paused during the presentation and was heard to say "I've always wanted
to do this!". |
