Questions and Answers

1. Tell us why you chose to partner with Peaches Uniforms?

Peaches is a reputable firm with more than 20 years of industry experience. They know
medical apparel inside and out. In addition, when I met with Barry Rothschild, CEO of
Peaches Uniforms, he shared my vision and was willing to push the envelope in terms
of design for scrubs. Peaches is known for innovation in the industry and they were
able to see the broad appeal and potential for a designer scrub line.

2. What was your motivation for developing a line of healthcare apparel?

I have tremendous respect for women in healthcare. Although I only play a role on
television, it has helped me get a glimpse of the kind of mental, physical and
emotional demands that working in the healthcare can place on people. This is an
opportunity for me to make a contribution, however small, to women in the industry.
In any position, when you feel good about how you look, it can have a positive impact
on your work and give you confidence. The Katherine Heigl Collection gives women the
opportunity to express their personal style in a professional manner. The clothes are
functional yet fashionable. And everyone likes to have some form of self-expression,
even if they are in a medical uniform.

3. Do you enjoy being involved in the design process?

I love being involved in the design process. This was a great opportunity for me to
merge my love for fashion and my personal style in a creative outlet. I worked very
closely with the design team and approved every aspect of the garments. I wanted to
make sure that the designs were functional and fashionable.

4. How has the Katherine Heigl Collection brought fashion trends to women's scrubs?

In developing the collection, we looked at fashion trends from the runways to red
carpets to city streets. We wanted to take cutting-edge design trends and bring them
to professional attire that could be worn on a daily basis. From the colors to the
cuts, from the patterns to the applications, every item in the line was infused with
details from today's fashions.

5. Who do you think will wear these scrubs?

The Katherine Heigl Collection is specifically designed for women in the healthcare
industry. Anyone who wears scrubs would be interested in this collection. It they
work in a private doctor's office, clinic, hospital or provide in-home care, any
woman who wants to express per personal style at work would be attracted to the
designs in the line.
