In September, Katherine was guest on "The Late Show with David Letterman" where she chatted about her battle to quit smoking. She revealed that she had switched to using an electronic SmokeStik® and credited the device with helping her to stop using conventional cigarettes.

The electronic device simulates the smoking experience, without the tobacco, tar and many of the chemicals that are found in a traditional cigarette. It does not have carbon monoxide, tar, or any other known cancer-causing chemicals and is free of ashes and stubs as it has no open flame. The user is essentially "smoking" a mist or vapor.
