Grey's Anatomy Return
At the 41st Annual NAACP awards on Friday (26th
February), Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes confirmed that
Katherine's character Izzie Stevens had been "written into the
next script," confirming her return to the ABC Medical drama.
The episode, which will not air until
mid-April, will be Katherine's first following a short break from the show to spend time
with her new baby daughter Nancy Leigh (Naleigh).
To The Rescue
The
Jason Debus Heigl Foundation teamed up with the
AngelDogs Foundation to fund free spay / neuter services for
64 cats and dogs belonging financially-challenged pet owners in Bakersfield on February 23rd.
At The Awards
As previously reported, Katherine will attend ShoWest's Final
Night Banquet and Award Ceremony on March 18th at Bally's and
Paris Las Vegas, where she will be honored as Female Star Of The
Year. She will also be joined by Jerry Bruckheimer who will
collect the Lifetime Achievement Award and Vanessa Hudgens
who will receive recognition as the Star Of Tomorrow. |
