The Rescue Paws photo exhibit is a personal celebration of
incredible musicians, actors, authors, fashion designers, models
and social figures who have compassionately rescued or adopted
dogs instead of purchasing them from pet stores or puppy mills.
These amazing people have welcomed photographer Robbie Bellon
and The Humane Society of the United States into their homes to
photograph their dogs in intimate settings. Celebrities have
also written personal accounts of the remarkable stories behind
the rescue of their best friends.
The Rescue Paws exhibit of these photos will go on display on
Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at a cocktail party at W Times Square
with a DJ set by Josh Madden. The one-day exhibit is being
staged in support of The Humane Society of the United States’
campaign to stop puppy mills.
The dogs featured in the exhibition include those rescued and
adopted by both Katherine and Nancy Heigl, Kelly Rutherford, Josh Duhamel, Deepak Chopra,
Selma Blair, Denise Richards, Cornelia Guest, John Bartlett and
Sophie Theallet.
The exhibition takes place at W New York – Times Square, 1567
Broadway at 47th Street, 7th Floor between 7pm and 9pm.
