Katherine
hosted a baby shower for friend and Grey's Anatomy co-star Ellen
Pompeo at her home in Los Feliz on Saturday, 29th August. Ellen
and her husband Chris Ivery are expecting a baby daughter in
October and the traditional event was held to celebrate the
forthcoming birth.
The
catered, outdoor baby bash was held in Katie's back garden with
umbrellas shielding the guests from the scorching LA heat where
temperatures topped 104 degrees. Pink flower arrangements and
candles accented the tables where 25 guests including Kate
Walsh, Sandra Oh and Rebecca Gayheart celebrated with Ellen.
Later that evening,
Katherine was spotted by the paparazzi outside her house as she
waved goodbye to guests as they headed home after the party.
