The
current issue of Entertainment Weekly (24th April) features a movie preview
section that casts an eye at the films set to hit cinema screens
this summer and Katherine's new movie
The
Ugly Truth, which opens on July 24th, is one of the flicks
showcased in the magazine.
In the article,
Ugly Truth
director Robert Luketic says of the movie, "there’s a lot of,
shall I say, flagrant banging and swearing and climaxing and
squealing" revealing that he jumped aboard when Sony Pictures
co-chairman Amy Pascal told him the studio hand landed Katherine
for the female lead. "I had just seen Knocked Up and thought she
was a breath of fresh air", Luketic said. "You're always looking
for that It Girl, and she seemed to have all the elements, with
a new spin."

Entertainment Weekly also revealed that Katie wrapped production
on Grey’s Anatomy last spring only two days before filming
began, so her rehearsal process for the movie consisted of a
night of drinks with Luketic and Butler at the her house in LA.
How did Gerard Butler describe the chemistry - "Three alpha,
outrageous people."
