The Jason Debus Heigl Foundation was founded
by Nancy and Katherine Heigl in honor of their beloved son and
brother.
The focus of the organization is to increase
awareness of inhumane animal treatment, support efforts for
rescue, medical treatment, training and placement needs.
One of their programs,
The Heigl Hounds of Hope, focuses on rescuing medium to
large dogs from the shelter. Dogs are sent to "Doggy Boot Camp"
where they go through training and prepare them for a new home
and family.

The Heigl Hounds of Hope, the adoption process and to

Dog adoption saves lives. If are thinking of getting a dog,
please consider a rescue pet before you buy a dog from a breeder
or pet store.
