The Oprah Winfrey Show ran a special feature on the best kept secrets of Grey's Anatomy on the 28th February 2006. It was revealed that Katherine is a bookworm - reading a book day during downtime. The clip features Katherine, TR Knight and Justin Chambers chatting and joking on the set of the ABC medical drama. It must be unzipped before it can be viewed.

A short feature from Entertainment Tonight on the 31st January, 2006 which examined the hairstyle trends at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. In particular the prominence of the ponytail. Katherine is interviewed on the red carpet and is asked about her preparations for the event. The clip is in Windows Media Player format.

E! News

On the 17th April 2006, E! News broadcast a feature which examined Katherine's appearance on the cover of Prevention magazine. The show focused on the importance of organ donation to her and her family. Click here to read more and find out how you can help raise awareness. Access Hollywood

Katherine attended the Westside Family Health Center Gala on the 22nd April, 2006 at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica. She was honored with the Westside Family Health Center Community Leader Award. The gala event was a fundraiser to help to provide for the health needs of more than 7,500 underserved women, men and children in an educational and supportive environment. The Windows Media clip shows Katherine at the event and discussing Grey's Anatomy.
