27 Dresses Unscripted

At the mid-December 2007 press junket for 27 Dresses, Katherine and co-star Ed Burns sat down to interview each other as part of Moviefone's Unscripted series. Unscripted pairs two stairs together who interview each other using questions submitted by the public and fans. In the video clips the duo chat, joke and exchange banter on a number of topics including Katie's wedding dance, her favorite Grey's Anatomy character and her Dad's experience at Malin Akerman's bachelorette party! Grey's Anatomy - Season 6

The interview audio clips below feature Katherine talking about the premiere of Season 6 of Grey's Anatomy broadcast on September 24th, 2009 and how her character Dr. Izzie Stevens is recovering from her cancer.  Explaining that the season opener spans two or three months she talks about the disease and the positive storyline for those suffering with serious illness. Katie also chats about how her character copes with the loss of George and how the writers found a beautiful way to honor their close relationship.

Grey's Anatomy Season 6 Promotional Interviews

In a series of promotional interviews for Season 6 of Grey's Anatomy, Katherine discussed a number of developments in the show that relate to her character Dr. Isobel "Izzie" Stevens. Beginning with an explanation of the dramatic Season 5 finale and how the scenes were shot, Katie chats about Izzie's recovery from cancer, the strengths of her character, her fondness for the relationship with Alex and how Izzie copes and deals with the loss of her friend George.
