Katherine's last TV spot
during her promotional visit to New York in July 2009 was as a
guest on Live! with Regis & Kelly on Tuesday, 21st where she
discussed her romantic comedy "The Ugly Truth". She
also spoke with the chat show duo about her new brown hair and
how previously she was often mistaken for actress Ashley Judd.
The new season of Grey's Anatomy, her role as an executive
producer and "Ugly Truth" co-star Gerard Butler were also topics
covered. |

before the release of "The Ugly Truth" in theatres, Katherine
appeared as a guest on the ABC late night chat show Jimmy Kimmel
Live! to promote the movie. The interview was actually recorded
a week earlier, just prior to the world premiere of the film.
During the discussion, Katie spoke about Grey's Anatomy, the
restaurant orgasm scene from the romantic comedy and how she almost ended up being
named after one of Neil Diamond's most famous songs, "Sweet
Caroline". |

Katherine's appeared on the
September 11th, 2009 edition of The Ellen DeGeneres Show to make
a very special announcement. She revealed that there would be a
new addition to her family, with the wonderful news that she and
husband Josh Kelley had adopted a 10 month old baby girl from
Korea. In addition to speaking about the motivation behind her
decision to adopt and the experience of the adoption process,
she also explained that her baby daughter Naleigh was named
after her mother and sister. |

On April 15th, 2010, Katherine
was a guest on the Martha Stewart Show where she got to test her
artistic skills by showing viewers how to make personalized pet
bowls and pet vacation tags. During her appearance she chatted

Jason Debus Heigl Foundation, movie "Killers" and family
life with baby daughter Naleigh. She was in New York for the ASPCA's 13th Annual Bergh Ball, where she
received the Presidential Service Award for her animal welfare
