Wipeout!

They realize that the Skins can’t be killed by guns when Kyle and Valenti appear; Valenti attempts to shoot a Skin who is threatening Maria and Liz, but the Skin escapes unharmed. Courtney explains that the only way to kill them is to hit them as hard as they can at the base of the spine. Isabel worries about Nicholas’s power, and Courtney tells them that Nicholas can get inside their heads and take anything he wants. Max tells them to split up into groups, so Michael and Kyle carry Courtney across the street to the UFO Center, then Valenti accompanies Tess, Liz, and Maria. When Max and Isabel are left, she asks if she can have it out with Nicholas on her own, but Max says no, that they’re stronger together. When Max turns away, Isabel goes anyway. Max runs after her and away from the UFO Center.

Isabel walks up to the Skins’ bus, when suddenly, underneath it, a remote control car careens around, before running right toward her and slamming into her foot. She turns to face Nicholas, who regards her smugly.

Back to the UFO Center, where despite treatment, Courtney’s skin continues its rapid deterioration. Liz works at a computer and determines that there was an electrical disturbance that morning. If they can find the source of the energy field and turn it off, maybe they could bring all the humans back. Valenti comes in and begins to talk to Kyle sentimentally about Kyle’s childhood, when suddenly, Valenti collapses and disappears, to Kyle’s horror. Kyle notices a rack of postcards in the middle of the room, one of which contains a picture of the UFO Center billboard outside of town. The postcard triggers Kyle’s memory, and he suddenly realizes where the energy source is coming from. He announces that he's heading out there.

Inside the bus, Isabel's hands are fastened to the ceiling by handcuffs, as Nicholas sits staring at her. Isabel tells him that she has come to make a deal with him, to which Nicholas responds, "We have you, you beautiful moron." Isabel doesn’t understand, and Nicholas sends Mrs. Whitaker out so that they can be alone. Isabel claims that has remembered something from her past, so Nicholas, believing her, dissolves the handcuffs. She starts to lean in, pretending to want to kiss him, but hits him instead. Mrs. Whitaker runs in and knocks Isabel out, angering Nicholas, who insists she was no threat. Nicholas then tells Mrs. Whitaker they are going to "Kill every last one of them."

Kyle, Maria, and Liz are driving to the location of the billboard, when Liz disappears. Kyle and Maria stop at the billboard, and they decide to use her car’s jumper cables to short out the transmitter bar. A Skin attacks them, but Kyle kills him by hitting him on the base of the spine, before Kyle too disappears. It is then up to Maria to save the day on her own.

Nicholas captures Courtney, who is dying, and tries to pry out of her the location of the Granolith. Rather than tell him, she kills herself. Max, Michael and Tess come upon the unconscious Isabel at their school. Out of the hallways come the Skins, scratching themselves furiously. The Skins tie up the four aliens, and Nicholas calls Isabel "Vilandra," asking her if this feels familiar. Max looks at Isabel, shocked.

Maria is still struggling with the jumper cables, trying to attach them to the bar. She finally succeeds, and the bar explodes…at the same time as Tess uses her powers to create an inferno. The Skins go up in flakes, and all the humans are suddenly back. Isabel happily greets her mother in the Evans’ kitchen. Tess and Max walk through the park, as Tess tells Max she doesn’t know how she did what she did, but that kind of power frightens her. A kid on a razor-scooter bangs into them, but keeps going, and from the back, he looks very familiar…
