Isabel is envious when Max and Liz experience flashes when they kiss; the visions are of a galaxy in which their home planet may be located. Maria is jealous as well, and tries to create flashes of her own with Michael. Alex offers himself as a resource to Isabel, suggesting maybe they could find out more about the home planet if they were to engage in some making out of their own. Isabel refuses, rolling her eyes. Later, she and Michael talk Max into exploiting the kiss-and-see-visions, suggesting maybe they’ll see more if they continue their sexual relationship. Isabel and Michel do their best to set a romantic scene for Max and Liz in Michael’s new apartment. Isabel dims the lights and Michael cues up Chaka Khan just before letting Max and Liz alone, but they are interrupted before they get too carried away.

Later, Liz draws a picture of something she’s seen in her dream, which turns out to be a nearby radio tower. She and Max make the trip to the site, and as they prepare to once again engage in foreplay, Liz hears a beeping. Determining that it’s coming from the ground, they begin to dig, and suddenly a ray of light bursts through. Max reaches in and lifts out an orb inscribed with the recurring alien symbol. Isabel goes to Alex’s house and informs him her brother is missing. She tells him she’s decided to take him up on his offer to try to find out more, à la Liz and Max. They kiss, but see no visions or flashes. Max and Liz wake up in the desert the next morning, next to their excavation site. Watching them is a man who tells them they are on private property and should go home; it is the same man who murdered Hank. They return to two sets of angry parents, waiting at the Crashdown.
