Isabel’s car has broken down and is in the process of being towed, when she sees a lone car approaching – Maria in her Jetta. Maria stops to give Isabel a ride, even though Isabel is disdainful of Maria, and Maria is terrified of Isabel. Isabel doesn’t help matters by using her powers to make the Jetta’s air-conditioning blow colder, and its stereo to blast louder, which scares Maria even more. Annoyed, Isabel decides to taunt her about "horrible, disgusting creatures from outer space who sneak into your room at night and perform excruciating experiments," at which point Maria gets so upset that she runs into the car in front of her – Valenti’s cruiser! After Maria complains to Liz about Isabel’s behavior, Liz asks Max to talk to Isabel about her attitude toward Maria. Max tries to discuss the matter with Isabel, but she thinks it’s a great idea to continue to terrify Maria – that way she’ll be too intimidated to tell anyone about them. Isabel decides to enter Maria’s dreams to see what she’s thinking, and she discovers that Maria sees the aliens as green, slimy monsters. After the incident, Maria continues to fall apart, which Valenti exploits, hoping to get her to tell him the truth about Isabel, Max and Michael. Ms. Topolsky’s conducts career decision testing, and it seems that Isabel sees herself in a career as a supermodel, but the testing reveals that she’s actually most concerned with home and family.
