While Liz wins a radio contest to find her the perfect blind date, and Maria becomes the singer for Alex’s band the Whits, Isabel lets Michael persuade her to help him find Nasedo, the shapeshifter. Michael takes her to the lawn in front of the library, where he interprets a map and decides that they need to position rocks in the lawn in the shape of the symbol they found in Frasier’s Woods. He then sets the lawn on fire, causing the symbol to glow. After it burns out, Michael sadly remarks that he doesn’t think Nasedo is coming, and that no one ever comes for him. Isabel hugs him and tells him she’ll always be there for him, then uses her powers to make the symbol disappear. Kyle peer pressures Max into taking a sip of alcohol as they commiserate over Liz’s blind date, and Max’s alien makeup causes him to get roaring drunk, and he decides he and Kyle are going to "get Liz back." Maria performs with the Whits, and a mysterious, dark-clad figure strolls past the burnt-out symbol on the lawn and, with a wave of his hand, sets the symbol afire once again.
