| While visiting the veterinarian with his
dog Lucky, Ryan met Meg, one of the associates there, and
told her about his jewelry line. He was surprised to learn
that Meg was the sister of Katherine Heigl, who stars in his
favorite TV Show, Grey's Anatomy. Meg introduced them which
led to the opportunity for Ryan to make Katherine's jewelry
for the Golden Globe and SAG Awards. In the spirit of
kindness which defines Katherine, she offered to help Ryan
promote his jewelry line by giving him the opportunity to
provide
jewelry for her to wear on the Red Carpet at the
Grey’s
Anatomy DVD Launch and for her photo shoot for
Shop, Etc.

Inspired by Katherine's beauty and star quality, Ryan
created the "Lucky Star" collection as a celebration of the
star within each of us. He named it serendipitously for the
luck of meeting Katherine, and that it was his dog Lucky
that led them to be acquainted. The "Lucky Star" Pendant is
the centerpiece of the collection and is handcrafted in 14k
Rose Gold with diamond accents. |
