Katherine Heigl attended the TrevorLIVE benefit held at the Hollywood Palladium on Sunday night. She was at the event to support the Trevor Project, an organization which provides suicide prevention for LGBTQ youth in crisis.

On arrival, Katherine headed over to where a crowd had gathered to sign autographs and take photos before making her way on to the red carpet. The conversation with fans was a made a little more difficult by a fence blocking her path, but she managed to work around the barrier much to the delight of those trying to say hello.

Accompanied by her husband Josh Kelley, Katherine posed for the cameras and conducted interviews on the red carpet as she made her way down the press line.

Stopping to chat with Access Hollywood about the importance of the Trevor Project Katherine was asked how fans have reacted to her new show State Of Affairs.

The Wrap was also on hand to ask Katherine about her support for TrevorLIVE and to quiz her about what she's learned from launching the CIA drama, before she headed inside the venue to take to the stage as a guest presenter. She was charged with handing NBC Entertainment's Chairman Robert Greenblatt the Trevor Hero Award for his work with the organization.

Backstage Katherine caught up with some old friends, including former 27 Dresses co-stars James Marsden and Melora Hardin, who were among a host of famous faces in an audience which included Lisa Kudrow, Wentworth Miller, Kellan Lutz, Sarah Hyland, Kelly Osbourne, Molly Ringwald, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Beth Behrhs
