State Of Affairs: A Popular Choice
State Of Affairs, Katherine Heigl's CIA drama which debuts November 17 on NBC will be a popular choice among advertisers according to a survey carried out by industry magazine Variety.
The Variety poll of commercial ratings projections from four major ad buyers found that State Of Affairs, which Katherine headlines as presidential briefer Charlie Tucker, is expected to generate the most commercial viewership among freshman scripted programs in the 2014-15 season for the 18 to 49 age bracket - the demographic most coveted by advertisers.
Former Criminal Minds head Ed Bernero will showrun State Of Affairs, with Joe Carnahan - who wrote and directed the pilot episode - working as an executive producer alongside Katherine Heigl, Nancy Heigl, Robert Simonds, Sophie Watts, Henry Crumpton, Rodney Faraon and Julia Franz. Universal TV will produce the show with Bob Simonds Co. and the Heigl's Abishag Productions. Filming is scheduled to begin on new episodes early in August.
