NBC has announced several new cast members for Katherine Heigl's new CIA drama pilot, "State Of Affairs" in which she stars as Charleston Whitney Tucker, a key CIA attaché who counsels the president on high-stakes incidents around the world.

Adam Kaufman (Without A Trace) is set to play Lucas Newsome, a CIA analyst on the President's daily briefing team, where he will be joined by Sheila Vand (Argo) who will take on the role of Maureen James, a tough individual who likes to keep her private life to herself.

Hollywood Heights alum Tommy Savas will join the cast in the series regular role of Dashiell Greer, the youngest member of the team, and Chicago-based theater actor Cliff Chamberlain will play Kurt Tannen, a quirky CIA linguist.

Broadway star Leslie Odom Jr. (Leap Of Faith) who can currently be seen on Person of Interest and Law & Order: SVU, will portray Chief of Staff Mitchell Manning.

Joe Carnahan (The Blacklist) will direct the pilot.
