"I play a very dark person, which is out of my wheelhouse," Katherine said of her new role in North Of Hell, a Darko Entertainment picture that she will lead opposite Patrick Wilson. The dark comedy will see Wilson play Don Champage a successful businessman who seems to have it all, but whose obsessive wife (Heigl) controls every aspect of her husband's life.

Darko is financing the film with Skateland's Anthony Burns directing and writing based on a story by Carlo Allen, Ted Elrick & Tom Lavagnino. Darko's Sean McKittrick and Jeff Culotta, Burns, and AJ Buckley are producing. Darko's Edward H. Hamm Jr., and Andre J. Champagne are executive producing. North Of Hell is scheduled to start production in Louisiana next month.

Wilson is next onscreen in Insidious Chapter 2 with Barbara Hershey and The Conjuring. Katherine has lent her voice to the animated The Nut Job, which hits theatres next year and will also be seen in the drama A Moment To Remember.
