Katherine will star in a new movie directed by Ben Lewin's called "A Moment to Remember" for Scott Pictures, Sobini and Film 360. The film is based on "Pure Soul," a Japanese TV series created by Motoko Kimura, broadcast on Yomiuri TV, and subsequently turned into a successful Korean threatrical film produced by CJ Entertainment and Sidus FNH Corporation.

The unusual romantic drama is the story of a beautiful, talented young fashion designer who finds true love just as she receives important news that could change everything in her life.

Lewin, who is hot off of last year's Sundance Film Festival win, as well as Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations with "The Sessions," will begin casting supporting roles to play alongside Katherine immediately for a late Spring start.

Scott Steindorff will produce with Sobini Films Mark Amin and Cami Winikoff, and Film 360’s Scott Lambert. CJ Entertainment's Miky Lee, David Higgins and Judi Levine will executive produce, along with Scott LaStaiti, Peter Fruchtman and Dylan Russell from Scott Pictures.

Scott Pictures International will handle international pre-sales for the film.

A production and financing company founded by Steindorff ("The Lincoln Lawyer") and Peter Nathanial, Scott Pictures is prepping Lynne Ramsay's "Jane Got a Gun," which will star Natalie Portman, Michael Fassbender, Joel Edgerton, and Rodrigo Santoro for a March start. Scott Pictures is also producing the Olivier Megaton thriller "Land of the Living" with Film 360 and Peter Billingsley’s "Triple Time" starring Vince Vaughn.

Film 360's most recent productions include: HOPE SPRINGS, the Sony release which grossed over $100M worldwide and was recently honored with a Golden Globe nomination for Meryl Streep and PARANOIA, starring Liam Hemsworth, Gary Oldman and Harrison Ford, and to be released by Relativity in October 2013. Projects in development include the STEVE JOBS biography for Sony and SESAME STREET at Fox.
