Warner Bros. has released the trailer for New Year's Eve, a star-studded ensemble comedy directed by Garry Marshall. Katherine and her co-stars celebrate love, hope, forgiveness, second chances and fresh starts, in the intertwining stories of couples and singles, told amidst the pulse and promise of New York City on the most dazzling night of the year.

The stellar cast also includes (in alphabetical order), Jessica Biel, Jon Bon Jovi, Abigail Breslin, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Robert De Niro, Josh Duhamel, Zac Efron, Hector Elizondo, Ashton Kutcher, Seth Meyers, Lea Michele, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michelle Pfeiffer, Til Schweiger, Ryan Seacrest, Hilary Swank and Sofia Vergara.

New Year's Eve was shot entirely on location in and around New York City early in 2011 with Katherine completing a two week shoot on February 11th. She will play a caterer forced to work on December 31st serving a party attended by her former boyfriend, who is now a famous rock musician. The musician is played by Jon Bon Jovi.

The Warner Bros. distributed New Line Cinema presentation will be released in theaters from December 9th.
