With filming set to begin on Katherine's new movie "One For The Money" on July 12th, cast and crew have been busy gearing up for the start of production.

The movie, which is being shot in the Pittsburgh area, will see Katherine take on the role of Stephanie Plum in the big screen adaption of the first in the series of best selling novels by Janet Evanovich.

Katie will be joined on set by her co-stars which include Jason O'Mara, Daniel Sunjata, Patrick Fischler and John Leguizamo.

Leguizamo posted on his Twitter page July 8th, that he was headed to rehearsals and uploaded a picture of the script which featured a monologue for his character Jimmy Alpha.

Meanwhile, on July 7th, hundreds of people attended an open casting call by Nancy Mosser Casting for roles as extras in the movie. Pittsburgh's WPXI Channel 11 was on hand to cover the event, which took place at the Kingsley Center in East Liberty.

Katherine has not just been busy preparing for her lead performance - she also has a dual role as one of the producers for the movie. Despite this busy schedule, she managed to catch brother-in-law Charles Kelley and his band Lady Antebellum in concert last night at the First Niagara Pavilion in Burgettstown, PA.
