Katherine Heigl attended the 13th Annual ASPCA Bergh Ball at The Plaza Hotel in New York this evening. She was honored at the star-studded event, themed 'Animal House', with the prestigious Presidential Service Award for her dedication to animal welfare.

The ASPCA recognized the work of the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation which she founded with her mother Nancy. The Presidential Service Award is given to individuals who have demonstrated their commitment to improving the quality of animals' lives and to helping protect and prevent animal cruelty.
